Haven taken the EDM world by storm with his summer hit “Language” Porter Robinson wont be so quick to “sell out”, refusing to work with Mega Pop Super Star Katy Perry.
In a recent talk with the Daily Star Robinson said, “I’ve had offers from a bunch of triple-A pop acts like Katy Perry to work with them, but I’m not interested.”
The 20 year old producer went on and said, “It’s a surefire way of damaging your credibility and I just don’t think it’s inspiring. I want to make stuff that I enjoy so I won’t produce anyone else, for now.”
Robinson then praised Deadmau5 for inspiring him to do so saying, “I admire him because he’s yet to release a song that sounds like he’s trying to fit into something.”
Porter also spoke on the success of “Language” saying,“It’s totally unexpected because I come from a style of aggressive club music, less musical and less commercially viable. I just wanted to do something different.”
Different It was as Porter Robinson will now try to follow up Language with another diverse track.
